Golf Tees Wall Piece. Wood and Golf Tees. New Jersey. July 2012

This custom made wall piece was made using 19,000 golf tees. The client was renovating her home and wanted a piece of artwork for her dining room wall. After lengthy conversations with her I gathered that she wanted something made out of wood, that she wanted it to tie into the space which had doors opening up to her garden in which she had a backdrop of bamboo and she liked golf. This was my proposal to her:
